I spent 41 days in the VR sequel to Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day is a 1993 comedy starring Bill Murray, where he lives the same day of his life over and over. 26 years later, they made a VR sequel to this film.

  1. Groundhog Day is my favourite movie, and it was so surreal to not only see that this exists, but to play it as well. The editing on this one took a long time to get right, and I want to give a special thank you to my editor Cloe for working on this

  2. In my opinion the ending should’ve been him getting back with his ex, they show their relationship and understanding of each other more than the canon girlfriend it would’ve made it more emotional I think. Obviously there would be some other changes like the nephew and his ex’s son would date because they would become cousins if they got married, but in the end I think it could be a better ending.

  3. Imagine how Daniel or RTGame must have felt for 7 or so hours becuase if i'm correct he played for like 9 hours on stream in this game

  4. I can't believe I started this video laughing at the absurdity of a Groundhog Day vr sequel and ended up ugly crying an hour later

  5. I never thought that watching the YouTube haha funny man play a VR game would make me actually cry but here we are

  6. Real Question though, what does 41 have to do with the game/video/movie, I don’t know if I’m just dumb but can someone help me

  7. Imagine being stuck in groundhog day, but the day you're repeating is just a day of lockdown where you can't go out or see anybody. What do you do?

  8. That last breath is, to me, the part of loss that hurts the most.
It's the moment between life and death, where you truly lose a loved one. Every death in the family I've been through, even holding my dog as he was put down, the final exhale has always been the hardest too endure.

  9. I may be a Grinch or a Scrooge saying this but this hallmark storyline makes me want to vomit. Basic philosophy with insufferable sappy cringe.

Nice game play by the way, I wonder if call me Kevin up the ante in " human virtue".

  10. things you don't expect: a groundhog day sequel in VR

other things you don't expect: a groundhog day sequel in VR that's actually good

  11. It’s kinda wholesome seeing a youtuber who usually curses every game he plays, actually enjoying his experience with pure joy.
